Anna Maria Brown

Anna is a retired midwifery lecturer who taught at a Surrey university for over 43 years. She holds a PhD in health sciences and has published widely in the field, including the midwifery textbook Better Births: The Midwife ‘with Woman’ with Wiley Blackwell and numerous medical journal papers. Away from writing, Anna enjoys travelling, reading, dancing in an adult ballet class and painting in acrylics and other mediums. The Relic Keepers is her first work of historical fiction, co-authored with her long-time friend and colleague Angie.

Angie Elizabeth Wilson

Angie worked as a nurse, specialist midwife and tutor at the University of Surrey and the Royal Surrey Hospital for 46 years before retiring. She also holds a PhD and has published numerous professional papers and book chapters in midwifery. Angie’s hobbies include travel, writing, painting, photography, gardening, picture framing and upholstery. The Relic Keepers is her first published historical fiction novel, written with Anna.
